Week 3Week 3 Recap and Week 4 Look Ahead
Three teams are still unbeaten after Week 3. Four are still looking for their first win. The gap between those groups looks enormous in some places and barely exists in others: Fietze beat Delaney by 47.38 points, while Vaccaro survived Desanto by just 0.54. Prestia scored the third-most points in the league and somehow left with his third loss. Week 4 puts two perfect records against winless opponents, but the most interesting test may be Fietze against a Tavenner team that has won two straight.
⸻ ⭐ WEEK 3 RECAP 🏈 ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY 112.22 – SINGLEDIGITSDEV 64.84 Fietze had no trouble getting to 3–0. Derrick Henry scored 21.4 and Ja’Marr Chase added 20.3, giving him more than enough to beat 0-3 Dev by 47.38 points. Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day finished fourth in league scoring without needing a dramatic finish. Devaney’s 64.84 was the lowest total of Week 3. His starting running backs combined for 13.5 points, and the matchup got away from him quickly. A different lineup might have narrowed the gap, but finding another 47 points was a tall order. SingleDigitsDev is now 0–3, and the new name has an unfortunate amount of evidence behind it. ⸻ 🏈 FRAUD SQUAD 148.94 – MY LEGS ARE GONE 96.46 Moulton delivered the biggest score of Week 3, with Jahmyr Gibbs supplying 37.9 points on his own. Fraud Squad’s 148.94 put this game beyond reach and moved Moulton to 2–1. Even Jakobi Meyers’ 15.9 points sitting on the bench barely registers as a regret when the winning margin is 52.48. As a yeedog who likes bacon, Gribbel got just 1.7 points from De’Von Achane and finished with 96.46, his third loss in three weeks. That score would have been enough to beat either team in the Cote–Tavenner matchup. Maybe Gribbel needed to give his lineup more bacon, but facing the week’s top scorer gave him almost no room for a quiet performance. ⸻ 🏈 FAZE OBAMAPHONE 137.34 – HOOPERVILLE 121.26 Prestia finally got a strong scoring week. Unfortunately for him, Obamaphone picked the same week to post 137.34. The league’s second- and third-highest scores landed in one matchup, and ObamaPhone came away with a 16.08-point win to stay unbeaten. Bijan Robinson and Drake London helped lift Hooperville to 121.26, a total that deserved better than another loss. Prestia’s 0–3 record says he has yet to win; it does not make this a poor performance. Obamaphone, meanwhile, has opened with three wins and just held off a team playing well enough to beat most of the league. That is a convincing addition to an undefeated start, but we expect nothing less from the 3 peat champ. ⸻ 🏈 ZERO DARK THIRTY 111.28 – BIN LADIN BRUISERS 110.74 Vaccaro beat Desanto by 0.54 points, the closest finish of Week 3. Garrett Wilson’s 21.7 and Christian McCaffrey’s 19.6 helped Zero Dark Thirty reach 111.28 and preserve a perfect record. James Cook scored 19.4 and Jaylen Warren added 19.1 for Desanto, who came within a single point of handing Vaccaro his first loss. Desanto had points available on the bench, including from Trevor Lawrence and Deebo Samuel Sr., but his starters still produced 110.74. That is a painful loss, not a collapse. Vaccaro moves to 3–0, Desanto drops to 2–1, and their all-time series now stands 9–8 in Vaccaro’s favor. After 17 meetings, apparently neither manager is allowed a comfortable lead. ⸻ 🏈 TOMMY CUTLETS 96.84 – CHICKEN BING BING 92.00 Tavenner won his second straight game despite scoring just 96.84. George Kittle’s 23.2 points carried Cutlets to a 4.84-point win over Cote. It was the lowest winning score of the week, but it counts exactly the same in the standings as Moulton’s 148.94. Cote had a realistic shot at his first win until the final margin settled against him. Justin Jefferson contributed only 4.2 points, and Chicken Bing Bing finished at 92.00. Cote is 0–3, but this one was within reach. Tavenner is 2–1, though he will likely need more scoring when he faces undefeated Fietze next week. ⸻ ⭐ WEEK 4 LOOK AHEAD 🏈 FRAUD SQUAD (2–1) VS. HOOPERVILLE (0–3) Moulton comes in off the league’s highest Week 3 score. Prestia comes in off its third-highest and still needs his first win. That makes this a closer matchup on paper than the records suggest: Fraud Squad has momentum, while Hooperville has evidence that its lineup can put up a winning number. The all-time series is tied 4–4, and Prestia won the last meeting 94.48–88.80. He has won three straight against Moulton. Week 4 will show whether that history carries over against a Fraud Squad team fresh off 148.94, or whether Prestia’s scoring finally comes with a win. ⸻ 🏈 BIN LADIN BRUISERS (2–1) VS. SINGLEDIGITSDEV (0–3) Desanto was half a point from joining the unbeaten teams. Devaney was 47.38 points from beating Fietze. Their Week 3 losses looked nothing alike, but both need a response. For Desanto, the question is whether a solid 110.74-point outing can turn into a win. For Devaney, it is whether SingleDigitsDev can recover from the league’s lowest score. Desanto leads their all-time series 9–7, although Devaney has won the last two meetings. The most recent was decisive: Devaney won 119.48–82.54. A repeat would give him his first win of 2026 and turn last week’s 64.84 into a bad memory instead of a trend. ⸻ 🏈 TOMMY CUTLETS (2–1) VS. ROME WASN’T BUILT IN A DAY (3–0) Fietze has won three straight and just took care of Devaney by more than 47 points. Tavenner has won two straight, but his 96.84 in Week 3 would not have been enough against Fietze’s 112.22. Tommy Cutlets has found ways to win; this matchup asks for a stronger score to go with them. Tavenner leads the all-time series 8–6 and won their last meeting 93.76–72.78. That history gives him reason to like this matchup, even with Fietze arriving unbeaten. If Tavenner hands Rome Wasn’t Built in a Day its first loss, his narrow Week 3 escape will look like an important step toward a much bigger win. ⸻ 🏈 ZERO DARK THIRTY (3–0) VS. MY LEGS ARE GONE (0–3) Vaccaro’s perfect start survived a 0.54-point scare against Desanto. Gribbel’s first win remains elusive after running into Moulton’s league-leading 148.94. There is a wide gap in their records, but Week 3 also showed how much the opponent across from you can shape the story. Gribbel leads this series 9–5 and has beaten Vaccaro twice in a row, including a 108.14–80.22 win in their last meeting. Vaccaro can break that streak and move to 4–0. Gribbel can use a familiar opponent to finally get on the board—and remind the league that head-to-head history does not reset when the season does. ⸻ 🏈 CHICKEN BING BING (0–3) VS. FAZE OBAMAPHONE (3–0) Cote came within 4.84 points of his first win last week. Kobelski scored 137.34 to protect his unbeaten start against a strong Prestia performance. Chicken Bing Bing needs more than a close game this time; Faze ObamaPhone has shown it can score even when its opponent does too. Kobelski leads the all-time series 10–2 and has won six straight against Cote. The last meeting was close, though: Kobelski won 106.42–101.46. Cote does not need to solve six previous matchups on Sunday. He needs to find the five points that separated them last time, plus enough to keep pace if Kobelski puts up another Week 3-sized score.
